It all starts with the grain.

Spelt, Protein, Super, Chia, Vitamin and Muesli – these are the delicious flavors of B. Just Bread – they combine real baking tradition with the modern lifestyle. Our mission is to include this healthy bread with its young look into an everyday breakfast routine. The best of it? We only use pure and natural ingredients and obviously, no chemical additives and preservatives! Our breads are vegan, lactose free and really delicious.

A baker from New York came to Gelsenkirchen to ask Thomas Gill for advice. He wanted to bake and sell a modern, healthy rye bread on the famous Green Market. 

The idea of B. Just Bread was born after a revisit in New York. Even in this hip city, everybody knows: the best bread comes from Germany. We even call our dinner, “evening bread”.

After the founders visited their colleagues from the bakery Bread Alone in New York, the project B. Just Bread got started. The famous subway with the line ‘B’ connects the Bronx with Brooklyn along the Broadway. A combination of New York’s spirit and traditional craftsmanship… The new branding was born: B. Just Bread. 

From the bakery to the supermarket shelf

The entire process of planning, baking and trying took a whole year until the range and recipes of B. Just Bread met our standards. It was quite difficult to create a protein bread with low carb, high protein and good taste. But our bakers did it! Our customers can choose between six different flavors. They are all really different but they still have some very important things in common: They are clean and have only simple ingredients – great for a healthy diet. The whole production, beginning with the grain and ending with the bread in the supermarket shelf is fair and sustainable. 


By now B. Just Bread consumers in the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy and Spain appreciate our bread. The concept of B. Just Bread is unlimited.
